So after many months of tests treatments and more things shoved up my orifices I have returned.
Fortunately for me it turns out I did not have cancer.
as a one drug controlled diabetic I’m not allowed or told to check my blood sugar.
unbeknownst to me I had contracted pancreatitis. This meant my blood sugar rose from 5.5 to 33 which is really really bad
this caused my loss of weight 40pounds in 7 weeks and some of the other symptoms.
in addition I have they decided also got CFS or chronic fatigue syndrome, from being over stressed at work
wasn't impressed with the doctors starting with a cancer diagnosis and working back from there but hey ho
The pancreatitis has permanently damaged my Pancreas which is shrinking and dying. I’m on another drug as well now and have my sugar under control. It will probably need insulin in due course or a pump or transplant.
ive quit my job as they were going to send my boss and her boss to interview me whilst off sick and suggested I might like a witness present and am now self employed once again building up a new business.
I still get very tired and sleep loads and have a. Few other issues
oh and to cap it off one of my dogs tripped me up last month and I head butted the pavement got a PVD to the right eye.
One one hand I want to say, good news, it's not cancer, but on the other hand you've got plenty of other issues to deal with so not all that good. Glad to see you're retaining your sense of humour throughout.
