I will be there, and as far as I know Stan & Neill; it would be nice for any members attending to partake of a natter & modest alcoholic refreshments together.

I am disappointed that he joined up here and never contributes , I enjoyed hearing about his various jobs and his XJ on the Driveway , is it running yet ? Tell him Jimc64 sends his regards That will flush him out ha ha ha

I believe that he is going to Warwick in the Jag, so presume that itโs running. JimC said hello from the Classic Works.๐

A great day out, I met the builder of the lovely supercharged V8 powered Mk 2 which I photographed at Steve Sheldon's meeting earlier this year; hopefully he will join us and post some motivating stuff about how he built this car. I won't steal his thunder by saying any more. The info / chat line up; some very pleasant people there, most of whom I had not met previously, including a woman after my wife's heart, with her family in a lovely XFR-S. A shame that none of those who had slagged me off on line, or been rude to my wife, made it to do so to my face. XJSs & XJ-Ss seem more popular than when they were current. SS100. A gentleman's carriage from the 1950s, Mk VII. An old lady 2.4 Mk 1. A few shots of the field. XK150, Mk IX, and Daimler SP250. The replica C-Type was very convincing; top marks to the builder. SS100, occupied by a couple probably as old as the car, and as cool. Daimler Conquest Convertible. Beer on the terrace.

These sort of People never have the Bottle to face anyone Phil , they are content to hide behind keyboards and post the occasional like and dislike in an attempt to start a Bandwagon rolling , we all know who they are . Absolutely wonderful Photographs Phil spoiled only by a Specsavers Wallet , I assume you won that in the Raffle ?

J1 SRH is my pick of the best Phil , the X350 looks lovely in that Colour . I honestly cant make up my mind about the X358 range as a whole , I realise of course it was a revamp until the X351 arrived but for me personally it doesn't work . I wonder if the C Type in your Pictures is a Replica , were they made that late ? I honestly cant remember .

Itโs quite amusing seeing the tossers withdraw from meetings when they discover that I am attending, perhaps Iโll turn up unannounced another time.๐ The Specsavers case is the only thing I have found which contains my phone properly; none of the proprietary cases fit.

I still canโt make up my mind about the X350 / X358, although the 358 has grown on me since buying mine. I did consider painting the side vents in body colour to make them a bit more subtle, but chickened out. The C-Type is a replica; that one was registered a decade after production ceased. The best car there, IMO, was the Mk 2 mentioned; have a look at Steve Sheldonโs 2017 meeting thread.

The XK150 and the Daimler Conquest Convertible are the stand out cars there for me.
