It was my great pleasure to come across two Black Aston Martin DBX travelling in convoy this morning just outside Turvey on the Bedford/Northampton road . At first glance not that dissimilar to the Cayenne from the front but when it passes for an SUV , the sound was astounding . Are these Models on sale yet or were they perhaps Press Cars ? In any case I thoroughly enjoyed seeing them pass , a far better looking machine than the Cullinan or the Bentayga

Not sure if they are on sale yet, but they are getting some very positive reviews. Initial impressions are that Aston Martin have pulled it off with the DBX.

I haven't seen any more since those two near Turvey driving in convoy so I cant add anything else . I have noticed a couple of Bentaygas running around and they are pretty subdued aesthetically and aurally in comparison . |

Whats the opinion on these BMW Grills ? We spoke some time ago about the problems Designers must face when they narrow the headlights on a car, what do you do with the rest of the nose cone many including Jaguar going for those large faux air intakes under each headlight . In the end these grills wont prevent your typical M4 driver from buying this latest model though it will be interesting to see if large grills become copied by other manufacturers . I think BMW have it about right , in fact probably the nicest front I've seen on a performance saloon .

I think BMW had it right with the last gen M4, I will reserve judgement until I have seen one in the flesh. I suspect it will be much better in real life. |

I just can't gell with this new Vantage, roadster or Coupe. My money would be on a previous gen manual DBS. Timeless classic much like the XKR. |
