www.parkwayspecialistcars.co.uk/stocklist/nissan-gtr-prestige-2dr-coupe-auto/I had the pleasure of following one of these in red from Chipping Norton to Banbury recently and I have a mate who owns a black one . I also have other friends who are patiently waiting on the prices to drop and they tell me that for a good one bargains can be hard to find . Personally for me its a shape that seems to look better every time I look at it , initially as with most things Japanese you always think that some details could be done better or perhaps certain aspects are a bit overdone , Lexus with their Coupe is a good example of the latter with their wurlitzer front grill . The GTR could be argued to be just as iconic a shapes the 911 in the sense that there is nothing quite like it , did The Japanese ever build a better Sportscar ? I dont believe they did .

Toyotya made a very smart looking sports car in the 70's perhaps ... it featured in one of the 007 movies ... looked the business but no idea what it performed like

I find the front a bit fussy, but the side view is fabulous; without the inset wheels, more E-Type than a Series 1 E-Type.

Did a Google and these were developed and built by Yamaha for Toyota who were seen at the time as a boring car manufacturer and wanted to lift their profile, only @ 330 coupes were built and only two soft tops just for the James Bond film one of which was kept by Toyota.
