well I hope it imporves on the self indulgent crap that was the last series. I thought they would only last one series, as it seemed to be a bit of a simple two fingers to the BBC. I struggle to work out how RH managed to be even more annoying than he was on TG, but he certainly managed it.
Don't forget the format that worked on TG was stopped from being used on TGT by BBC lawyers. So they had to try implementing new ideas and incorporate bits the US market would like. This season. The whole series is based in the Tent again but I believe it is sitting somewhere in the Cotswolds for most of not all of the run.
Jaguar XK-R Convertible with speed pack and black pack charcoal interior with 5 litre V8 S/C and the lovely active exhaust.
Just get showbox, the first series was on there. I appreciate the format had to be changed but surely they realise they didn't just have to create a program that was minimally legally separated from the BBC show. Conversation Street... Utter pap. No guests on the show, why, because the BBC said they couldn't? the American in the car, jeez really he was a dick but I guess that fits in with the character traits of the rest of the cast.
All I'm saying is its like they only made the show like a band makes a final album, you just feel like they really don't give a hoot and people will watch because it's Jeremy, James and the annoying shit!
American driver dropped, Celebrity brain crash dropped. New Series 1st episode is a massive improvement, especially now they have a celebrity section with a race off round a new track using an F-Type as the eboladrome is also dropped.
Yep, watched it yesterday, had another one of those stage managed "races" between a car and something(s) else. New Ford GT vs buses and trains and a plane. The Eboladrome hasn't been dropped, they used it in this episode for a fast car lap (a Merc), it's just the celebrity stuff in the F-Type that is now done on the new track.
